This Friday (16th May) ARK Kings Academy will be taking students from Years 7 to 10 off-site for a special day of enrichment activities designed to expand their horizons and prepare them for their future lives.

Students in Years 7, 8 and 9 will travel to Oxford for a day at Wadham College, part of the world-famous University of Oxford. Students will spend the day earning about Higher Education and get a taste for life at university (and not just at Oxford!).

For Year 10s, Friday will all be a day of excitement and adventure as they get the chance to sample all the Adventure Rope Course centre has to offer. There students will develop their physical strength and coordination and gain valuable team working skills.

Our Year 11 students will be holding the fort back home at ARK Kings Academy. The summer exam season is now underway. Those students not sitting exams on Friday will spend the day receiving additional revision and study support to help ensure they fulfill their full potential in their exams this summer.

Enrichment is aimed at adding an extra layer of value to the school experience for all students by providing opportunities to develop communication, teamwork, creative, problem solving and sporting skills amongst others.  We hold six enrichment days over the course of the school year. .
