Safeguarding

Safeguarding

Safeguarding is the name given to individuals and organisations organisations working together to protect and promote the safety and welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults.

At ARK Kings Academy we take safeguarding very seriously. All adults who regularly work on our site are required to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check to prevent unsuitable people from working with students. All visitors are closely supervised when on site.

To find out more about ARK Kings' approach to Safeguarding and how you can support us, please download our Safefuarding policy.

Reporting Problems or Concerns

At ARK Kings Academy we use the School Help Advice Reporting Page System (SHARP) to encourage the confidential reporting of problems including Bullying, Hate Crime, Weapons and Health in or out of school. You can use the system to report problems you are experiencing or to alert the school to any concerns you may have regarding other people's safety and wellbeing.
