This half term, we have run our first Reading and Maths workshops of the year for Key Stage 2.

Parents and carers found out about our approaches to teaching both subjects in school and then spent time in lessons with their children.

The focus for the Reading workshop was on decoding, fluency and retrieval strategies. Parents also gained an understanding of the journey of a reader and how they can support their child at home.

The focus for the Maths workshop was on arithmetic, particularly the four operations.
