Ark Kings on International Volunteers Day

On Thursday 5th December, Ark Kings took part in celebrating International Volunteers Day. We hosted a range of activities from helping collect food donations for the B30 food bank, a charity bake sale as well as a ‘random act of kindness’ stand, encouraging students to write a note of appreciation for anyone special. Furthermore, we had a raffle for ‘Kevin the Carrot’ which proved to be a huge hit for both students and staff! The activities were thoroughly enjoyed by all and congratulations to our winner of Kevin the Carrot, Mrs Chetwynd! We managed to raise a grand total of £121.50 which will all go towards St Basil’s charity in Birmingham, working towards ending youth homelessness. Thank you to everyone for their donations and support!
