The Secondary Phase site is open to pupils from 8:10 am every day. The school gate closes at 8:25 am each day. The formal school day runs until 3.30 pm Monday to Thursday and 2:00 pm on Friday. After school, there is a facility for supervised study in the academy library as well as a range of catch-up clubs in subjects.

Ark Kings offers a range of extra-curricular activities for pupils. We run these activities on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays after the formal school day has finished, between 3.30 pm and 4:30 pm.
