Year 3 Distance Learning Hub

Welcome to the Year 3 Distance Learning Hub! At the start of each week, we will be uploading new resources for your child to complete at home. These can be downloaded and printed or simply viewed online. In addition, this page also provides links to other websites and resources with ideas for delivering the school curriculum at home. 

NB If you would like to work from printed resources, and would like the school to print and send these to you, please contact the primary main office on 0121 458 5380.

We are also advising parents to sign up to the ActiveLearn website for free where you will be able to access online Maths games and eBooks from Abacus and Bug Club.

History - The School Run

To develop children's research skills, pupils can learn about a topic that interests them by searching The School Run website. There are a range of non-fiction texts to read as well as key vocabulary for children to learn. Your child's current unit is Ancient Maya, so this would be a good unit to start researching!

The 3D Geography website contains downloadable 3D templates for children to cut and make in order to make geographical models. Children are also able to access geographical videos and websites. This year your child has learnt about earthquakes, so this topic can be explored in more detail.
