How to apply

Applications for places at Ark Kings Primary are made in accordance with Birmingham Council’s co-ordinated admission arrangements.

Applications for Reception places for a September 2027 start must be submitted by 15th January 2027.

Parents will be notified by Birmingham City Council on 16th April 2027 if their application has been successful.

Open Days

Throughout the year we hold open sessions for parents and pupils thinking of joining Ark Kings Academy. These sessions are an opportunity for families to get to know the academy and our staff and are designed to help you decide whether Ark Kings Academy is the right school for your child.

We are running an Open Morning on Thursday 17th September 2026 at 10am. This will include:

  • An introduction from our Principal, Mr Taylor
  • A guided tour of the school to explore our facilities
  • An opportunity to speak to staff about our school offer, including curriculum and enrichment opportunities
  • Complimentary refreshments

The Open Morning is for parents with children looking to join Reception in September 2027, as well as for anyone interested in joining Ark Kings Academy in other year groups.

Parents and carers are also very welcome to contact the school to arrange a tour at a time that is more convenient for them.
