My Child at School (MCAS) Portal

Have you downloaded the MCAS (My Child At School) app? It's a great way to keep track of your child's school day and have more clarity regarding what they're doing well and what they can do to improve.

MCAS links to our in-school Management Information System, Bromcom.

You will be able to see information about your child’s:

• Attendance
• Timetables and Classes
• Behaviour
• School calendar dates

You will also be able to receive key communications, which you would usually receive via email and text, directly through the app.

To sign-in for the first time, please follow these steps below:   

• Open this link in a web browser  
• Click ‘Sign up’ 
• Enter the school’s postcode B38 9DE and select our school from the drop-down list 
• Enter your email address (the email address you use must match the email address we have on record for you) 
• Create a password  
• You will be emailed a one-time passcode to activate your account – enter this passcode when instructed to 
•  Login to MCAS 
•  If you have a smartphone, download the MCAS app from the Apple Store or Google Play Store  
• When logging into the app for the first time, ensure notifications are switched on – this will ensure you receive all messages from the school  

We hope that you will find the information on the MCAS portal a useful tool to know about key school information and your child’s progress. We expect that the topic you will engage with most regularly will be the behaviour and attendance module, especially as you will see behaviour events and attendance marks added in real-time. You can have positive and productive conversations with your child about their behaviour and attendance.
